The following charts detail required service times for model year 2009 and newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Schedule A outlines services performed after 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. Schedule B shows services performed after the next 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.
Certain Mercedes-Benz vehicles, notably those made in 2015, diesels, those with V12 engines, and those produced by AMG®, have unique service needs. Make sure to inform your service advisor if you have such a vehicle and follow their instructions for maintaining it.
Schedule A) 10,000-Miles Required Maintenance Schedule*
The A Service first visit is at approximately 10,000 miles or 1 year. Then it is approximately every 20,000 miles or 2 years. This is for model year 2009 and newer. Please see your service advisor for all 2015 Mercedes-Benz A/B service specifics.
That means you will need a Service A at approximately 10,000, 30,000, 50,000, 70,000, 90,000, miles (etc.). The timeframe will depend on how often and far you drive. The exact time is determined by the vehicle’s Flexible Service System.
- Synthetic motor oil replacement and
- Oil filter replacement
- All fluid level checks and corrections (dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model.)
- Tire inflation check and correction
- Brake component inspection
- Reset maintenance counter
In performing Service A, Mercedes-Benz is careful to take into account your vehicle’s specific features. We identify its model and production year, obtain the relevant service sheet, and service it accordingly.

The B Service first visit is at approximately 20,000 miles or 1 year after the previous service. Then it is typically every 20,000 miles or 2 years (approximately). This is for model year 2009 and newer. Please see service advisor for all 2015 Mercedes-Benz A/B service specifics.
The need for Service B, like that for Service A, varies with the vehicle’s specifics and is not time dependent. You will need a Service B at approximately 20,000, 40,000, 60,000, 80,000, 100,000 miles (etc.). The exact time is determined by the vehicle’s Flexible Service System.
